With the reinforcement plates from MD-TrackPerformance, your rear strut bearings are guaranteed not to tear out.
From our own experience we can guarantee that this set is a must for anyone who goes to racing events or tourist trips.
Unfortunately, the domes on the old BMW E36 body tend to tear. Our sheet metal reinforces the heavily stressed areas and prevents cracks.
The use of coilovers puts enormous strain on the body at this point. We therefore recommend this set as a precaution. Of course, the sheets can still be used even if cracks have already appeared!
A repair in a specialist workshop, in contrast to our sheets, costs a small fortune.
For easy and frustration-free installation, we manufacture the sheets on precise CNC-controlled machines to ensure the highest possible precision.
The steel we use (S355) is also ideal for welding to the body.
We recommend welding. However, the sheet can also be used as a washer.
After welding, the area should be sealed again!
