Our manufactured air intake funnels for the BMW E36 fit any front apron with fog lights.

The funnels are used to supplement our brake ventilation anchor plates. We adapted the design of the fog light funnels to the entire opening in the bumper. So we use the full area. The edge of the funnel was also chosen to be thin but stable in order to create an even larger area. For secure attachment, we decided on a screw system. To do this, we soldered 3 metal threaded inserts into the funnel. This makes it possible for us to securely attach the funnel to the bumper with M5x12mm screws. Nothing needs to be adjusted with the M package bumper. The standard BMW E36 bumper may require a minor adjustment to the inner frame.

With our system, it is not possible to tear the funnel away. Even the thread doesn't break after screwing it several times. As may be the case with some competing products.

The funnels are made from high-quality ABS, this plastic is often used in the automotive industry for a variety of body parts.

We have continually developed the funnels to ensure the best possible flow behavior.

Our funnels are characterized above all by their very small web width. This creates an opening area of ​​approx. 13,500mm^2.

How does the MD-TrackPerformance brake cooling system work?

Our funnels can be found primarily on sporty vehicles. This is because the funnels are often used for brake cooling, for example. The freely selectable hose connection makes it possible to direct the air precisely to the brake. There the hose can be attached to a special anchor plate that also has a hose connection. Why do we advise you to install brake cooling?

Through our accumulated experience in motorsport, we know how important it is to have reliable brakes. Unfortunately, this is not always the case for us. We often had a soft pedal during the Nordschleife lap. We were able to solve this problem thanks to our brake cooling system. We were also able to significantly increase the service life of the brake components thanks to a well-ventilated brake.
